Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is handled by the third-party provider that supplies the result experience. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Routine Technical Data
Hosting services may retain standard logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Those records are reviewed in aggregate to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where present, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use this limited information to operate the service, resolve technical issues, measure overall traffic, and improve references. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Johnston County and North Carolina portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their own privacy terms govern material submitted there. That includes sponsored results, which are supplied by a third party.
Who Might See Your Data
Hosting and support providers process technical logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires it.
How We Protect Your Data
The service uses an encrypted connection, and routine logs are retained only for the purposes described here. Because there are no user accounts, the site does not hold visitor passwords or account profiles.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Information Choices
You may ask about data this service holds by using the Contact page. Because it retains little visitor information, a request usually involves the contact mailbox or routine server logs. The research located no enacted comprehensive North Carolina consumer-data privacy statute with a universal deletion right as of August 2026. Public records held by North Carolina, Johnston County, or Clayton offices are outside our control. Direct any correction or removal request for those records to the office that created or keeps them.
Updates to This Policy
We will post any revised policy here. Continued use after a revision means the updated policy applies.
